AntonettiIn addition to the AAHSFF film invitation, my class was able to attend the festival that took place all weekend. We got learn mean different thing along the way those past few week in New York. It was amazing to get chance to relax after the film invitational with my film crew and reflect on our work. It was also very inspirational to see the numerous of films that made it in the AAHSF and be surrounded by very talented young filmmakers. AntonettiThis year I had the opportunity to compete in a film competition along with my classmates in my advanced TV productions class. We were given 3 to 4 days to film and edit a short film in NYC that had between 2 to 3 mins long and contain a prompt. Our prompt was "What about face to face".Our film was called Awakening and it focused on a young teen whose past started to effect her current life. My experience during the film invitational will always be a moment in my life I will never forget. Although due to our time limit things it get stressful and annoying that just wanna to gave up but i didn't i just keep my mind open and keep thinking of no matter if we didn't win me and my classmates have fun, it was amazing to be able to be apart of the All American High School Film Festival's first ever film invitational. This experienced really motivated me to become better and not be afraid push my limits while film making. It was interesting to see the others school's films and their perspectives on the competition.
